Khem Birch
Orlando Magic signed 25-year old Canadian international center Khem Birch (208-100kg-92, college: UNLV). The last season Birch played at Olympiacos (A1) where in 33 games he had 5.7ppg and 5.0rpg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. A very impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 League All-Imports Team, 3rd Team and All-Defensive Team. Birch also played 37 games in Euroleague where he recorded 7.3ppg and 5.6rpg.
Birch has never been drafted by the NBA.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won D-League Central Division championship title in 2015. Birch was also voted All-MWC Defensive Player of the Year back in 2013 and 2014 at his college time.
Birch has been also a member of Canadian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Canadian senior team since 2016 and previously for U18 National Team in 2010.
Birch represented Canada at the National Prep Championships Finalist six years ago.
He has played also professionally in Turkey (Usak Sportlif), NBA (Miami Heat) and NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce).
Birch attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas until 2014 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
