JIMMER FREDETTE

Phoenix Suns (NBA) agreed terms with 30-year old point guard Jimmer Fredette (188-89kg-89, college: BYU). He started the season at Shanghai Sharks in Chinese CBA league. In 43 games he had very impressive stats: 35.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.4apg and 2.5spg this season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was named to Chinese CBA All-Star Game and League Player of the Week (2 times). The last summer Fredette played at Team Fredette. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
In 2011 Fredette was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks in first round (10th overall). He attended Brigham Young University and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Fredette played in the final of MWC Tournament in 2008 and 2011. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA 2nd Team in 2018.
Fredette has played previously for six other NBA teams: New Orleans Pelicans, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings and Westchester Knicks.
He could be described: (by Tyler Ingle for NBADraft.net in 2011)
Wide array of ways to put the ball in the basket ... Great size and strength for a point guard ... Strong finisher around the rim ... Uncanny shooting ability. Struggles to close out on shooters ... As the primary offensive option on his team, he hasnt proven he can be a pass-first point guard
