New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) signed 23-year old forward Christian Wood (208-95kg-95, college: UNLV, agency: Pensack Sports). He started the season at Milwaukee Bucks. In 12 NBA games he had 3.1ppg and 1.7rpg this season.
The most of last season Wood spent at the Blue Coats where in 45 NBA games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.3ppg, 10.4rpg (#4 in the league), 2.2apg, 1.1spg and 1.8bpg. Great season as he was named to USBasket.com All-NBA G League 2nd Team. He also spent pre-season at Sturgeons (CBA) in Chinese league.
Wood has never been drafted by the NBA.
His team made it to the MWC Tournament Semifinals in 2014.
Wood has played previously for three other NBA teams: Philadelphia 76ers, Charlotte Hornets and Greensboro Swarm.
He attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas until 2015 and it is his fourth season as a professional player.
