Phoenix Suns (NBA) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old point guard Isaiah Canaan (183-85kg-91, college: Murray State). He already started the season at Northern Arizona Suns. In only one NBA G League game he recorded very impressive stats: 18 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 block this season. Canaan also played earlier that season for the Rockets. But in only one NBA G League game he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound. He also spent pre-season at the Thunder earlier that year.
In 2013 Canaan was drafted by Houston Rockets in second round (34th overall). He attended Murray State and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Canaan won OVC Regular Season West Division championship title in 2013. He received also All-OVC Co-Player of the Year award back in 2013 at his college time.
Canaan has played previously for three other teams: Chicago Bulls, Phi.76ers and Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Dirk Nowitzki (7'0''-F-78) will accept a one-year deal with the Mavericks worth $5MM, but the contract may not be finalized for a while, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Charania states that neither side is in a hurry to sign the deal, but the news means Nowitzki, 40, will return for his 21st season in Dallas.
