Orlando Magic signed 26-year old center Adreian Payne (208-111kg-91, college: Michigan State). He played last season at Minnesota Timberwolves. In 18 NBA games he had 3.5ppg and 1.8rpg.
The previous (15-16) season Payne played at another team Erie Bay Hawks where in three games he recorded very impressive stats: 26.3ppg, 9.3rpg, 4.3apg and 2.3spg.
Three years ago he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks in first round (15th overall). The former Michigan State standoutis in his fourth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won Big Ten Tournament in 2012 and 2014. Payne was also voted NABC Division I All-District 7 2nd Team back in 2014.
He represented USA at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) four years ago.
Payne has played previously for two other NBA teams: Austin Spurs and Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
He could be described: Extremely long athletic forward • Owns 7-foot-1 wingspan • Possesses some of the skills of a guard because he stood 6-foot-5 as a prep freshman • Has skills to knock down perimeter jump shot • Can be a shot-blocking presence due to his superior length and leaping ability • Effective in transition because of his straight line speed • Great hands with a knack for scoring in the low post.

Orlando Magic roster for 2017-2018:

Arron Afflalo
Shelvin Mack
Jonathan Simmons
Troy Caupain

Marreese Speights
Wesley Iwundu
