An interesting game for Sioux Falls Skyforce (24-24) which hosted in Sioux Falls their close opponent Austin Toros (20-29). Third ranked Sioux Falls Skyforce managed to get a 5-point victory 116-111. Sioux Falls Skyforce dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Austin Toros' 52. 25 personal fouls committed by Austin Toros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yante Maten (203-96, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Rodney Purvis (193-94, college: Connecticut) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Lonnie Walker-IV (196-98, college: Miami, FL) replied with 23 points for Austin Toros. Austin Toros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sioux Falls Skyforce maintains third position with 24-24 record having six points less than leader Windy City B. which they share with defeated Austin Toros. Austin Toros at the other side keep the third place with 29 games lost. They share the position with Iowa W..
An interesting game for Kings (30-19) which hosted in Stockton 4th ranked Lakers (21-28). Second ranked Kings managed to get a 10-point victory 118-108. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lakers. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian forward Daniel Ochefu (211-93, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Troy Williams who added 30 points and 5 steals during the contest. At the losing side guard Jemerrio Jones (196-95, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. Lakers' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kings maintains second position with 30-19 record having just one point less than leader Windy City B. Lakers at the other side keep the fourth place with 28 games lost.
An interesting game for Fort Wayne Mad Ants (23-26) which hosted in Fort Wayne their close opponent Greensboro Swarm (22-26). Third ranked Fort Wayne Mad Ants managed to get a 12-point victory 127-115. The winners were led by Alize Johnson who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points, 20 rebounds and 8 assists. Fort Wayne Mad Ants' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 28 points and 8 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) by John Gillon did not help to save the game for Greensboro Swarm. Fort Wayne Mad Ants maintains third position with 23-26 record having six points less than leader Windy City B. which they share with defeated Greensboro Swarm. Greensboro Swarm lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 26 games lost.
An interesting game for Knicks (28-20) which played road game in Portland against 4th ranked Maine Red Claws (19-29). Third ranked Knicks managed to get a 11-point victory 105-94. Luke Kornet fired 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Knicks' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Knicks maintains third position with 28-20 record having just two points less than leader Windy City B. Maine Red Claws lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 29 games lost.



Sioux Falls S. - Austin S. 116-111
