The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last day review presented by ESL.

The game between third ranked Fort Wayne Mad Ants (19-23) and fifth ranked Blue Coats (16-23) was the most important one in the last day on Monday night. Fort Wayne Mad Ants were defeated by Blue Coats in Fort Wayne 99-112. Blue Coats made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Blue Coats outrebounded Fort Wayne Mad Ants 60-46 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Lebanese-American forward Norvel Pelle (208-93, college: Iona) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Forward Ryan Anderson (206-92, college: Arizona) contributed with 13 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-96, college: New Orleans) answered with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Fort Wayne Mad Ants' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Blue Coats maintains fifth place with 16-23 record. Fort Wayne Mad Ants lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the third position with 23 games lost.
An interesting game for Long Island Nets (28-14) which played road game in Canton against 4th placed Canton Charge (17-25). First ranked Long Island Nets managed to get a 4-point victory 106-102. It was a great evening for center Alan Williams (203-93, college: UCSB) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. Dzanan Musa helped adding 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Long Island Nets' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Malik Newman (190-97, college: Kansas) responded with 30 points and 4 assists. Long Island Nets have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 28-14 record. Canton Charge at the other side keeps the fourth position with 25 games lost.
An interesting game for Salt Lake City Stars (22-21) which played road game in Mississauga against their close opponent Raptors 905 (25-17). Second ranked Salt Lake City Stars managed to get a 6-point victory 114-108. It was an exceptional evening for Nazareth Mitrou-Long who led the winners and scored 39 points (!!!) and 5 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!). Salt Lake City Stars' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jordan Loyd came up with 29 points, 8 assists and 6 steals for Raptors 905 in the defeat. Salt Lake City Stars maintains second place with 22-21 record having five points less than leader Windy City B. which they share with defeated Raptors 905. Defending champion Raptors 905 keeps the second position with 17 games lost.



Canton C. - Long Island N. 102-106

An interesting game for Long Island Nets (28-14) which played road game in Canton against 4th placed Canton Charge (17-25). First ranked Long Island Nets managed to get a 4-point victory 106-102. Long Island Nets forced 19 Canton Charge turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a great evening for center Alan Williams (203-93, college: UCSB) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds.
