An interesting game for Long Island Nets (23-14) which played road game in Sioux Falls against their close opponent Sioux Falls Skyforce (23-16). Second ranked Long Island Nets had an easy win 130-108. Long Island Nets outrebounded Sioux Falls Skyforce 58-41 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 32 personal fouls committed by Sioux Falls Skyforce helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for center Alan Williams (203-93, college: UCSB) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Shannon Scott (191-92, college: Ohio St.) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Raphiael Putney (207-90, college: Massachusetts) replied with 26 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Jarvis Threatt (188-93, college: Delaware) added 17 points and 7 assists in the effort for Sioux Falls Skyforce. Five Long Island Nets and four Sioux Falls Skyforce players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Long Island Nets keep a position of league leader, which they share with Raptors 905. Sioux Falls Skyforce at the other side keeps the second place with 16 games lost.
