Flamengo advance to the Intercontinental Cup Final beating Austin Spurs 90-58. The Brazilian powerhouse dominated the whole game at the Carioca Arena in Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo won the first period 20-15 and added a 24-14 surge in the second frame. Another 23-11 and 23-18 rallies secured a comfortable win for the Brazilian team.
Franco Balbi (185-PG-89) led the winners with a game-high 19 points, while Marquinhos Vieira (207-SF-84) notched 17. Deryk Ramos (185-G-94) scored 14, whilst Anderson Varejao (211-C-82) had 9. Josh Huestis (201-F-91, college: Stanford) replied with 10 in a loss and DeJuan Blair (201-F/C-89, college: Pittsburgh) brought 9.
