Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last day review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last day was another loss of Long Island Nets (22-14) in Uniondale on Monday night. Hosts were edged by Magic (24-12) 112-109. Magic made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Long Island Nets turnovers. Strangely Long Island Nets outrebounded Magic 57-45 including 43 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian Braian Angola-Rodas (198-94, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Anthony Brown (199-92, college: Stanford) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Theophilus Pinson-Jr (198-95, college: N.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for Long Island Nets. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Magic have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-12 record. Long Island Nets lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the second position with 14 games lost.

It was a great evening for point guard Matt Farrell (185-96, college: Notre Dame) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 assists. Rashad Vaughn helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side forward Terrence Jones (206-92, college: Kentucky) responded with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Very important is a home loss of second ranked Kings (21-14) against fourth ranked Wolves (14-24) on Monday night. Host Kings were defeated by Wolves in a tough game in Stockton 130-136. It was an exceptional evening for Brandon Goodwin who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Troy Williams came up with 29 points and 5 rebounds for Kings in the defeat. Wolves maintains fourth place with 14-24 record. Kings at the other side keep the second position with 14 games lost.
The game in Portland was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Raptors 905 (22-13) played at the court of 5th ranked Maine Red Claws (13-22). Raptors 905 managed to secure a 9-point victory 121-112. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Maine Red Claws. Jordan Howard fired 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Maine Red Claws at the other side keep the fifth place with 22 games lost.

The most impressive performance of 91th day was 24 points, 7 assists and 4 steals by Jonathan Stark of Iowa W..



Erie Bay H. - Delaware BC 100-108

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Erie Bay Hawks (17-18) against fourth ranked Blue Coats (14-19) on Monday night. Host Erie Bay Hawks were defeated by Blue Coats in a tough game in Erie 100-108. Blue Coats players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. It was a great evening for point guard Matt Farrell (185-96, college: Notre Dame) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 assists. Rashad Vaughn (198-96, college: UNLV) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Raptors 905 dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Maine Red Claws' 56 and made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Raptors 905 forced 21 Maine Red Claws turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists. Point guard Jordan Howard (180-96, college: Cent.Arkansas) fired 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Canadian forward Mikyle McIntosh (201-94, college: Oregon) chipped in 30 points.
