Alize Johnson (6'9''-F-96, college: Missouri St.) kept up his torrid pace of double-doubles for the Mad Ants, and they defeated the Westchester Knicks 101-93 in White Plains, New York, tonight. Johnson had 31 points - a season best for the Indiana Pacers' rookie - along with 15 rebounds for his 13th double-double in 15 G League games. He made 12 of 21 shots, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range, in front of 1,107 fans at Westchester County Center. Stephanie Hicks (5'6''-G) had 24 points and 10 rebounds for Central Division-leading Fort Wayne (10-10), which had lost three of its previous four games and is now 4-3 on the road this season. Edmond Sumner (6'6''-G-95, college: Xavier) had 22 points and six assists for the Mad Ants, as they avenged an embarrassing 131-105 loss to the Knicks on Dec. 13 at Memorial Coliseum, where the Mad Ants will play host to the Wisconsin Herd at 7 p.m. Friday. The Mad Ants out-rebounded the Knicks 55-39 with Ike Anigbogu (6'10''-F/C-98, college: UCLA) totaling 15 boards and six points for Fort Wayne, on a night both teams totaled 13 turnovers. John Jenkins (6'4''-G-91, college: Vanderbilt, agency: BeoBasket) led the Knicks (15-8) with 25 points. Sekou Wiggs added 20 for the Knicks, who dropped out of a tie for first place in the Atlantic Division. Davon Reed (6'6''-G-95, college: Miami, FL) was back with the Mad Ants after a stint with the Pacers and he had nine points and four rebounds.
