The Memphis Hustle earned a 135-123 win over Raptors 905 (12-6) Tuesday afternoon in the first game of the MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The Hustle have now won six of its last seven games and move to 11-7 on the season, including 4-0 Eastern Conference opponents. Memphis' 135 points mark a new season-high. After a tight first few minutes, the Hustle closed the final 1:53 of the first quarter on an 8-0 run, eventually leading by as many as 17 in the first half and holding a 71-60 halftime lead. Raptors 905 made multiple runs at the Hustle lead courtesy of some timely three-pointers, but Memphis was able to keep them at bay each time and led for the entirety of the final three quarters. Tyler Harvey (6'4''-G-93, college: E.Washington) continued to produce since assuming a starting role, leading the team with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting to go with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals. Yuta Watanabe posted his second double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 boards, knocking down 11-of-12 free throw attempts in the process. Dusty Hannahs (6'3''-G-93, college: Arkansas) had another productive game off the bench with 17 points. Doral Moore (7'1''-C-97, college: Wake Forest) added 16 points, seven rebounds and three blocks on the afternoon. Tarik Phillip (6'3''-G-93, college: W.Virginia, agency: Two Points) (16 points), Kyle Casey (6'7''-F-90, college: Harvard, agency: Inception Sports) (13 points) and D.J. Stephens (11 points, nine rebounds) also reached double figures. Raptors 905's Jordan Loyd led all scorers with 30 points to go with six boards and four assists. Duane Notice (6'2''-G-94, college: S.Carolina) poured in 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Deng Adel (6'7''-F-97, college: Louisville) chipped in with 20 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Collinsworth (6'6''-G-91, college: BYU) had a game-high 13 rebounds. Memphis shot a season-high 52.8 percent (47-89 FG) from the field, assisting on 27 of its makes, while the Raptors 905 shot just 41.7 percent (43-103). The Hustle attacked the paint relentlessly, outscoring their opposition 78-56. Additionally, Memphis had a more productive night at the line, knocking down 34-of-41 (.829) free throw attempts to Raptors 905's 23-of-26 (.885). The Hustle will complete its two-game slate at MGM Resorts NBA G League Showcase in Las Vegas, the league's premier in-season scouting event, Thursday afternoon against the Wisconsin Herd at 2:30 p.m. Central time inside the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The team returns to Landers Center on Thursday, January 3 at 7 p.m. to take on the Stockton Kings.

Rio Grande VV - Long Island N. 129-112 Rio Grande Valley Vipers celebrated G-League title. They fired past Long Island Nets in the decisive third game of the championship series. Rio Grande Valley Vipers made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists.
