Christopher Evans (6'8''-F/G-91, college: Kent St.) is an athletic small forward who has played his fifth season as a pro at AS Monaco Basket. If we had to describe Chris with just one word, we would say hard-worker. In France, Evans averaged 13.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.4apg, 1.2spg and 13.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.1apg with an impressive 39.1 percent from beyond the arc in the Fiba Champions League. He could be the Euroleague's next star most fans don't know about yet. He sat down with us to talk about his career and future.

You have played in five countries with different cultures. How did those experiences help you grow as a person?
Each country I was in a different part of my life. I'm always alone so it helps me mature and I'm able to think and see a lot of things more clear with all the time I have

How would you describe your transition to Europe?
It was REALLY hard my first year, honesty I think I called my agent everyday for about 3 months wanting to leave. I hated it but after while I grew to like it and had a good year

What do you feel are your biggest strengths as a player?
I feel my athleticism and energy is the best thing I can bring. I can play a lot of different positions and I can score from different parts of the court

How would you evaluate your own performance in your first year in France?
B+. I can get better and I'm still young I'm only 27 and we didn't win a championship

What's the main thing you want to add to your game?
Consistent jump shot

Who's been the biggest influence on your basketball career?
My family, when times was bad try were there, from being cut, to being owed money, to playing 3 league Italy 3 years ago, they always kept me leveled.

Where do you see yourself 3 years from now?
In the NBA or Euroleague team.

What part of your game have you worked hardest on to improve - something that may have been a weakness and that now you consider a strength?
My jump shot it has gotten a lot better at first teams could disrespect me and not cover me from the outside now teams can't do that.
