The Tuscaloosa Titans of the National American Basketball League finished 17-2 in its inaugural season. Finishing as the Southeast Conference and Eastern Conference champions, the Titans fell short of the league championship losing in the final four. Under owner Jaylin Prewitt with a new roster, the team's goal is the same, to win a championship. 'Last year we went to the final four and lost,' DeAndre McIntyre (6'3''-G, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff), a member of the Titans team said. 'Obviously we wanted to win, and we didn't so that is our main goal this year in the intermural championship.' Before the teams' regular-season opener against the GA Kingz on March, 16, Tuscaloosa will have a chance to get rid of any preseason jitters. The Titans see its first action on Saturday against the Tuscaloosa Police Dept. In the teams second meeting, the game is to support the ongoing battle against police brutality. Tuscaloosa will be going against Erwin Dudley, recently named Alabama's 2019 SEC legend and member of the Tuscaloosa Police Dept. team.
