The Halifax Thunder are a dangerous team.

Especially in the second half.

Halifax erupted for 40 second half points and turned a tight game into a 78-57 win over visiting Lake City 56ers of Dartmouth/Cole Harbour/Preston in Maritime Women's Basketball Association Sunday.

The game was played in Halifax as the Thunder moved to 4-0.

Lake City is now 1-3.

Elizabeth Beals-Iseyemi powered Halifax with a 25-point effort. Maddy White knocked down 19.

Lauren Armstrong's 14 points paced Lake City. Evie Hargraves scored nine.

Thunder held a 38-35 lead at the break.
