Reggie Lytle
MVP Rankings

1. Zach Payton (6'5''-G/F, college: Redlands CC) (Indiana Fury) 37.0 pts. 15.4 rebs. 9.9 ast.

Payton has dominated the league all year landing in the top 5 in 3 out of 5 statistical categories. Payton is also the league leader in triple doubles with 4.

2. Rochester Rogers (6'3''-G-87, college: Missouri Valley) (Minnesota Rangers) 25.4 pts. 9.7 rebs. 4.6 ast.

Rogers is the guy under the radar because of some big games from other players tends to go unnoticed for player of the week, but that doesn't mean he is not mvp worthy. Rogers has been the most consistent player week to week and has wheeled the Rangers to 1st place in the division.

3. Reggie Lytle (6'2''-G-91, college: MCC-Penn Valley) (Indiana Fury) 33.3 pts. 8.5 rebs. 5.2 ast.

Lytle is part of the scoring duo for the Indiana Fury along with Zach Payton has dominated as of late scoring 40 plus points in 3 different games this season. Lytle is making more noise every week and don't expect him to sit at the 3 spot for to long.

4. Aaron Holmes (Dayton Airstrikers) 18.3 pts. 11.9 rebs.

Holmes continues his dominance on the boards for the 1st place Airstrikers. Holmes has posted double doubles 5 out of 7 games and had a career high 22 rebounds last week.

5. Scott Jones (6'1''-PG-88, College: Ohio Flash '16) (Dayton Airstrikers) 19.6 pts 7.4 rebs. 7.4 ast.

Jones is 3rd in the league in assist and is 2nd in the league in rebounds at the guard position. Jones owns the 1st ever MBL triple double in league history.

Players on the Rise

1A. Dominique Dawson (6'8''-C-91, college: Ky Wesleyan) (Minnesota Rangers) 17.1 pts 12.0 rebs.

Chicago pair drawing attention - 12 days ago
The undefeated Chicago Fury (5-0) and Chicago Knights (5-0) have both had a terrific start to the MBL season. Unbeaten after five games, people in the basketball world have taken notice. Dabriawn Johnson (6'1''-G, college: N.Mexico Highlands) (Knights) and Devante Jones(6'1''-G-94, college: Life) (Fury) will have an opportunity this week to show scouts from the NBA G League what they can do. Four Midwest Basketball League teams remain unbeaten after Week 5 - 20 days ago
After five weeks of play in the 26-team Midwest Basketball League just four teams remain unbeaten. With the regular season extending until the end of June there is plenty of time for playoff positions to be won. Two Chicago rivals sit atop the MBL East Division with both Chicago Fury (5-0) and Chicago Knights (5-0) yet to taste defeat. They have a date on June 1 in the first of two head-to-head matchups. Just east of Lake Michigan there are two clubs on the heels of their friends from t...   [read more]
Fort Wayne Ballers move to 5-0 - 24 days ago
The Fort Wayne Bubba Ballers have been running through the MBL East Division as of late posting a perfect 5-0 record. On Saturday the Ballers made the trip down to Muncie to take on the Indiana Dream. In what was suppose to be a close game Fort Wayne used a balanced attack to send the Dream in lala land with a 127-109 rout. In order to improve to 6-0 the Ballers will have to do it on the road in one of the most hostile environments in the MBL against the Chicago Fury   [read more]
