Fast start for Falcons lead to win on the road- November 29, 2023Women's Basketball off to the best start since 2015-16, the Falcons made a splash early agains the Blue Wave on the road Tuesday night at Florida State College at Jacksonville and finished with a 92-46 win to end non-conference play. The Falcons saw five in double figures while holding FSCJ to just four points in the third quarter. Sophomore Center Kendal Moxey finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7-for-11 field goal, 3-for-6 free throws, and 2 assist. Sophomore Guard Bella Weary (5'6''-G) added 14 points, 6 Rebounds, 4 assist, and 3 steals. Sophomore Center Alicia Spann added 13 points with Sophomore Forward Nia Brown (5'7''-PG) tailing her second double-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Sophomore Guard Tasia finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. Nia Brown stated "Great team win heading in to a short break before conference, I felt like we shared the ball well and converted alot in transition." The Falcons are back in action on Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. as they host Eastern Florida State College in the first Citrus Conference Matchup of the season.
