Here is the weekly review of the top performing Eagles alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Dirk Williams (6'5''-G-94, played in 2013-15, plays pro in United Kingdom) led DBL Sharks Sheffield to a victory over the closely-ranked Newcastle Eagles (21-12) 104-86 in the British BBL in Thursday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Williams scored 40 points (!!!), grabbed 6 rebounds, passed 7 assists and added 3 blocks in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. DBL Sharks Sheffield (12-10) is placed fifth in the BBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Williams has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 19.2ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.3spg in 32 games he played so far.

#2. Experienced Abdullahi Kuso (6'9''-F-84, played in 2004-06, plays in Japan) was the main contributor in Gunma's victory against the leader Kumamoto Volters (45-15) 73-72 in the Japanese B2 League last Monday. Kuso was MVP of the game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 13 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group East. Gunma Crane Thunders (43-17) are placed first. This season Kuso has very high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 10.8rpg, 3.2apg, 1.7bpg and 1.3spg.

#3. Hugh Robertson (6'5''-G-89, played in 2008-09, currently in Belgium), who plays in the Belgian Euromillions League could not help Stella Artois Leuven Bears (8-22) in their last game. Despite Robertson's very good performance Stella Artois Leuven Bears was edged 78-76 on the road by the league outsider (#10) Liege Basket. He was the top scorer with 21 points.    #5. Paul Guede (6'5''-G/F-87, graduated '11, plays in United Kingdom) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Newcastle Eagles (21-12) 99-80 in the British BBL last Friday.
