Top Southeastern Community College alumni playing currently pro basketball

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Blackhawks players who continue their career in pro basketball.

   #1. Experienced Facundo Giorgi (6'9''-PF-85, played in 2003-04, plays pro in Argentina) led Comunicaciones to a 3-point victory against the closely-ranked La Union (12-14) 83-80 in the Argentinian La Liga in Monday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds. Giorgi also added 2 blocks in 28 minutes. Comunicaciones Mercedes (13-13) is placed ninth in the La Liga. This year Giorgi averages 6.7ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.4apg in 27 games he played so far.

   #2. Kelvin Pena (6'4''-G-80, graduated '04, plays in Dominican Republic) could not help GUG (3-3) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed GUG (3-3) was edged 117-116 in a derby game by the leading Cupes in the Places 1-4 group. Pena was the second best scorer with 22 points. He also added 9 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Pena has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 18.0ppg, 5.7rpg, 6.7apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Tomas Bruha (7'0''-C-88, played in 2010-11, currently in Czech Republic) was the major contributor in a Sokol Prazky's victory against the eighth-ranked Olomouc SK (1-23) 88-73 in the Czech Republic 1Liga (second division) on Friday night. Bruha recorded 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 28 minutes. Sokol Prazsky (12-13) is placed first in Places 13-20 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And that game will be critical. It's Bruha's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 12.6ppg and 5.8rpg in 22 games.

   #4. Tyrie Orosco (6'5''-PG, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Belize) contributed to a Smart Belize Hurricanes' victory against one of league's weakest teams Red Bandits (2-7) 85-76 in the Belizean NEBL in Thursday night's game. Orosco scored 8 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Smart Belize Hurricanes (5-4) is placed third in the NEBL. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This season Orosco averages 8.2ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.1apg.

Michael Soukup (6'4''-G-94, played in 2013-15) plays for Basket Kosire in Czech Republic 1Liga
Jordan Aaron (6'0''-PG-92, played in 2010-11) played for Team Facing Addiction in the The Basketball Tournament last year
