Best performed former Lee College players in pro basketball in last week games

Every week we bring you a list of the top former Rebels players who continue their career in pro basketball.


   #1. Fred Richardson III (6'7''-F/G, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Kosovo) led Rahoveci to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Borea (3-19) crushing them 159-54 in the Kosovan Superliga last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Richardson III had a triple-double by scoring 53 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and passing 13 assists in 36 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. KB Rahoveci (14-8) is placed third in the Superliga. It's Richardson III's first year with the team. Richardson III has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 20.9ppg, 10.2rpg, 2.7apg and 2.1spg in 20 games he played so far.

   #2. Duop Reath (6'11''-F-96, played in 2014-16, plays in Serbia) was the main contributor in FMP's victory against the closely-ranked Partizan (14-8) 73-72 in a derby game in the ABA League on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Reath recorded 16 points and blocked 2 shots; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. FMP Beograd (10-12) is placed sixth in the ABA League. The Regular Season already ended in the ABA League. It's Reath's first year with the team. This season Reath averages 9.0ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.7bpg. He has also South Sudanese nationality.

   #3. Andre Pierce (6'10''-F/C, played in 2014-17, currently in Romania) contributed to a Miercurea Ciuc's victory against the fourth-ranked Targu Jiu (12-13) 90-76 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Pierce was MVP of the game. He recorded 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. CSM Miercurea Ciuc (11-14) is placed fifth in Group Blue. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Pierce has very impressive stats this year 23.7ppg, 11.9rpg and 1.4apg in 15 games.

   #4. Jackson Hussey (6'3''-G-92, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Australia) helped Willetton Tigers win their game against the ninth-ranked Cougars (0-1) 90-81 in the Australian State League (second division) last Saturday. Hussey was MVP of the game. He scored 24 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists. It was his first game for Willetton Tigers this season. His team are placed in SBL group. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.

   #5. Ahmed Hamdy (6'9''-F-93, played in 2014-15, plays in Georgia) helped Rustavi win their game against the closely-ranked Dinamo Tbilisi (8-5) 67-62 in the Georgian Superleague on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Hamdy had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds in 31 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. BC Rustavi 1991is placed second in the Superleague. Hamdy has very impressive stats this year 16.3ppg, 10.3rpg and 1.5spg in eight games. Hamdy is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

   #6. Trahson Burrell (6'7''-F/G-92, played in 2012-14, currently in the NBA G League) managed to help Texas Legends to win against the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario 106-103 in the NBA G League in Saturday night's game. He scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Burrell averages 6.7ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.6apg.

   #7. Vincent Garrett (6'6''-SF-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) was the major contributor in a Jena II's surprising victory against the leader Oberhaching 87-74 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) last Saturday. He recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. Garrett has relatively good stats this year 14.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.2apg and 1.4spg in five games.

   #8. Roussel Nkali (6'9''-F-92, played in 2013-14, plays in Georgia) helped Vera win their game against the league outsider Tbilisi crushing them 114-77 in the Georgian A League (second division) on Thursday night. Nkali recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 12 rebounds. Nkali has relatively good stats this season 12.0ppg, 9.3rpg and 1.9bpg.
