Best performed former Northwest Florida State College players in pro basketball in last week games

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Raiders players who continue their career in pro basketball.

   #1. Elgin Cook (6'6''-SF-93, played in 2012-13, plays pro in Croatia) led his Croatian team KK Cedevita Zagreb to a 3-point victory over the tenth-ranked Igokea (6-12) 78-75 in the ABA League last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Cook scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. KK Cedevita Zagreb (13-5) is placed second in the ABA League. There are only four games left until the end of the ABA League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Cook's first year with the team. Cook has relatively good stats this season 12.1ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in 18 games he played so far.

   #2. Jamarr Sanders (6'4''-G-88, graduated '11, plays in Italy) was the major contributor in an Alma TR's victory against the closely-ranked Germani BR (8-10) 85-77 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. Sanders scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Alma-Agenzia Per Il Lavoro Trieste (9-9) is placed ninth in the Serie A. It's Sanders' first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 4.4rpg and 2.8apg.

   #3. Jalen Jackson (6'6''-G/F-94, graduated '17, currently in Finland) led KTP Basket Kotka to a victory against the closely-ranked BC Nokia (11-15) 94-89 in the Finnish Korisliiga in Friday night's game. He scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds, passed 4 assists and added 2 blocks in 24 minutes. KTP Basket Kotka (16-9) is placed fourth in the Korisliiga. Jackson has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 15.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 4.5apg and 2.8spg in four games.

   #4. Jordan Capps (6'7''-F-95, graduated '18, plays pro in Kosovo) could not help Bashkimi (8-0) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the league leader Bashkimi was defeated 83-75 in a derby game by the lower-ranked Prizreni (#4). Capps was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 8 rebounds. This season Capps has very high stats. He averages 26.7ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.8apg and 1.7spg.

   #5. Darnell Harris (6'8''-F-92, graduated '16, plays in Greece) was not able to help Panionios in their game against Aris (6-10) in the Greek A1. He recorded 5 points in 19 minutes. Panionios was crushed 79-56 on the road by the lower-ranked (#9) Aris. It's Harris' first season with the team. This year Harris averages 9.8ppg and 3.8rpg in 16 games.

   #6. William Pfister (6'10''-F-95, graduated '18, currently in France) contributed to an GET Vosges' surprising victory against the sixth-ranked Sorgues BC 83-66 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Pfister recorded 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season he averages 7.3ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.1spg.

   #7. Chris Jones (6'0''-PG-91, played in 2011-13, plays pro in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the London Lightning crushing them 121-88 in the NBL Canada last Wednesday. Jones recorded 17 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 34 minutes. This year he averages 7.3ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.1spg in 22 games.

   #8. Stephen Hurt (6'11''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Yalova Bld (5-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Hurt's good performance Yalova Bld was defeated 70-64 on the opponent's court by the leading Bursaspor. He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 16 rebounds. Hurt also added 3 assists. He has relatively good stats this season 14.5ppg, 9.5rpg and 2.8apg.
