Top Chipola College alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Indians players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Marcos Knight (6'2''-G-89, graduated '13, plays pro in Germany) could not help MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (3-8) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg was defeated 83-78 on the road by the lower-ranked Telekom Baskets (#11). Knight recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Knight has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg.

   #2. Mario Little (6'6''-G/F-87, played in 2005-08, plays in Croatia) was not able to help KK Zadar in their game against Krka (5-13) in the ABA League, despite his very good performance in Sunday night's game. He was the top scorer with 13 points (was perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line). But KK Zadar lost 64-72 in Novo Mesto to the one of league's weakest teams (#11) Krka. It was KK Zadar's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the ABA League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Little's first season with the team. Little has relatively good stats this year 14.7ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.3apg in 16 games he played so far.

   #3. Darrell Williams (6'8''-F/C-89, played in 2008-09, currently in France) was not able to secure a victory for Le Portel (5-14) in their game against Olympique Antibes (4-15) in the French Jeep ELITE. Despite his very good performance last Friday Williams was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 28 minutes. It's Williams' first season with the team. Williams has relatively good stats this year 12.2ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg.

   #4. Experienced Chanan Colman (6'3''-G-84, plays pro in Israel) led Beer Sheva to a victory against the league outsider Bnei Hasharon (4-12) 87-74 in the Israeli Winner League on Monday night. Colman recorded 11 points and added 3 passes. Hapoel Beer Sheva (8-8) is placed sixth in the Winner League. This year Colman averages 8.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg in 16 games. He has also Israeli nationality.

   #5. Torian Graham (6'5''-G-93, played in 2012-14, plays in Holland) couldn't help Den Bosch (13-5) in their game against Amsterdam (6-15) in the Dutch Eredivisie. Despite his good performance last Saturday Graham recorded 11 points in 21 minutes. This season Graham averages 8.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.1apg and 1.5spg.

   #6. Kruize Pinkins (6'7''-F-93, graduated '15, currently in Italy) couldn't help Novipiu Casale in their game against Mens Sana 1871 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division), despite his very good performance on Sunday night. Pinkins was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 9 rebounds. But his team lost 98-107. Pinkins has very impressive stats this year 17.9ppg, 10.3rpg and 1.7apg in 19 games.

   #7. Tra-Deon Hollins (6'2''-G-95, played in 2014-15, plays pro in the NBA G League) contributed to a Fort Wayne Mad Ants' victory against the Raptors 905 Missisauga 117-112 in the NBA G League on Friday night. Hollins scored 9 points, had 4 rebounds, passed 8 assists and added 3 blocks in 35 minutes. This season Hollins averages 6.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 7.8apg and 2.4spg.

   #8. Junior Saintel (6'7''-G/F-95, played in 2014-16, plays in Spain) helped Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono win their game against the tenth-ranked Gijon 88-84 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) in Sunday night's game. He recorded 12 points. Saintel has relatively good stats this year 11.0ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.1apg in 19 games. He is a naturalized Haitian.

   #9. Cinmeon Bowers (6'7''-F-93, played in 2012-14, currently in Serbia) managed to help FMP Beograd to win against the tenth-ranked Igokea 87-78 in the ABA League last Saturday. He scored only 4 points in 9 minutes on the court. This season Bowers averages 2.8ppg and 1.8rpg.

   #10. Sam Cassell Jr. (6'4''-G-92, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Germany) led Herford to a victory over the 11th-ranked Leverkusen FB crushing them 109-88 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night. Cassell Jr. was MVP of the game. He scored 30 points (!!!), made 6 passes and 4 steals. Cassell Jr. has very impressive stats this year 20.8ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.4apg and 1.5spg in 18 games.
