Here is the weekly review of the top performing Thunderbirds alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Derek Cooke Jr. (6'9''-F-91, played in 2011-12, plays pro in the NBA G League) could not help the Raptors 905 Missisauga (20-12) in their last game. Despite his good performance the Raptors 905 Missisauga (#2) lost 112-117 on the road to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Cooke Jr. scored 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. It was Raptors 905 Missisauga's first loss after three consecutive victories. This year Cooke Jr. averages 6.3ppg and 7.0rpg in eight games he played so far.

#2. Devon Thomas (6'0''-PG-94, played in 2014-15, plays in Denmark) contributed to Randers' victory against the second-ranked Horsens IC (13-5) 106-93 in the Danish BasketLigaen last Sunday. He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Randers Cimbria Basketball (10-7) is placed fifth in ProA group. Thomas has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages 16.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.4apg and 2.0spg.

#3. Marvin Smith (6'6''-F, played in 2012-14, currently in Iceland) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams FSU in their game against Hamar (9-6) in the Icelandic D1 (second division), despite his very good performance last Friday. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Smith also added 6 rebounds in 26 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. But FSU was edged 97-94 at home by the higher-ranked (#5) Hamar. It was FSU's first loss after three consecutive victories. Smith has very impressive stats this year 25.3ppg, 13.3rpg and 1.5apg in four games.

#4. Experienced Keddric Mays (6'0''-PG-84, played in 2003-05, plays pro in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Baltur Cento (6-13) in their game against Orasi RAV (9-10) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Despite his very good performance on Thursday night Mays was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 3 steals. Mays has relatively good stats this season 14.6ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.4apg and 1.3spg.

#5. Lorenzo Dillard (6'3''-PG-95, played in 2013-14, plays in Belize) led Belize City Defenders to an easy victory against the league outsider Running Rebels (0-3) crushing them 98-70 in a derby game in the Belizean NEBL last Friday. Dillard scored 12 points in only a mere 14 minutes. Belize City Defenders (1-2) is placed second from the bottom (#6) in the NEBL. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Dillard averages 9.5ppg in two games.
