Here is the weekly review of the top performing Roadrunners alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Kevin Punter (6'2''-G-93, played in 2012-14, plays pro in Italy) could not help Virtus Bologna (9-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the first-placed Virtus Bologna (9-4) was edged 83-80 on the road by the lower-ranked (#6) SIG Strasbourg in the group D of Basketball Champions League. Punter was the top scorer with 22 points in 33 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Punter's team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Punter has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 17.0ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.2apg in 13 games he played so far.

#2. Kenny Chery (5'11''-PG-92, played in 2011-13, plays in France) was not able to help Boulazac Basket Dordogne (10-9) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Boulazac Basket Dordogne was badly defeated 93-75 in Bourg by the second-ranked JL Bourg. Chery was the top scorer with 26 points (made all of his seven free throws). This season Chery has very high stats. He averages 16.2ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.1apg and 1.2spg.

#3. Joe Thomasson (6'4''-G-93, played in 2013-14, currently in Poland) was the major contributor in a TBV Start Lublin's victory against the 14th-ranked Miasto Szkla (4-13) 83-75 in the Polish EBL in Saturday night's game. Thomasson had a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 4 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line) in 36 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Thomasson's third season in pro basketball. TBV Start Lublin (9-9) is placed ninth in the EBL. Thomasson has very impressive stats this year 18.9ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.6apg and 1.8spg in nine games.

#4. Clint Robinson (6'8''-F/C-94, played in 2014-16, plays pro in Portugal) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Esgueira / Oli (8-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Robinson's very good performance Esgueira / Oli was defeated 86-75 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Ovarense (#4). He recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. This season Robinson averages 9.9ppg, 10.4rpg and 1.8bpg.

#5. Dijon Smith (6'8''-F/C-89, played in 2007-09, plays in Germany) led Hertener Loewen Basketball to a victory over the sixth-ranked Herford (12-6) 77-70 in the German Regionalliga (fourth division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Smith had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 13 rebounds in 34 minutes. Hertener Loewen Basketball (14-4) is placed second in West group. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Smith has very impressive stats this year 18.9ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.3spg in 18 games.

#6. Filip Toric (6'7''-F-89, played in 2010-11, currently in Croatia) couldn't help KK Rudes Zagreb in their game against Pula 1981 in the Croatian Prva Liga (second division). Toric did not beat the league record on Saturday evening. He recorded only 2 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. His team was defeated 74-68. This season Toric averages 4.5ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5bpg.

Other former State Fair Community College players, who play in pro basketball:

Kedar Edwards (6'5''-F-93, played in 2013-14) plays for Halifax Hurricanes in the NBL Canada
