Top Cuesta College alumni playing currently pro basketball

We bring you last week's top former Cougars players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Vasil Bachev (6'5''-SG-92, graduated '13, plays pro in Bulgaria) could not help Akademik Bultex 99 Plovdiv (6-7) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance Akademik Bultex 99 Plovdiv was defeated 87-75 on the road by the leading Levski Lukoil. Bachev was the second best scorer with 16 points in 39 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Bachev's fourth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Bachev averages 21.2ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg.

   #2. Frank Muller (6'5''-F/C-88, graduated '09, plays in Luxembourg) was the major contributor in T71's victory against the league outsider Residence (3-14) 111-97 in the Luxembourg Total League in Saturday night's game. He scored 23 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists. T71 Dudelange (12-5) is placed second in the Total League. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Muller's tenth season with the team. Muller has very impressive stats this year 19.4ppg, 11.5rpg and 1.7apg in 14 games he played so far.

   #3. Arne Ingebrigtsen (6'6''-G-90, graduated '13, currently in Norway), who plays in the Norwegian BLNO was not able to help Froya Basket (11-9) in their game last Saturday. Despite his very good performance Froya Basket was defeated 96-88 in Tromdheim by the lower-ranked Nidaros Jets (#8). Ingebrigtsen scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 36 minutes. It's Ingebrigtsen's fourth season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 10.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.7apg.

   #4. Jeremy Landenbergue (6'3''-PG-93, graduated '13, plays pro in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Monthey (7-7) in their last game. Despite Landenbergue's good performance Monthey lost 70-80 on the opponent's court to the second-ranked Massagno. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Landenbergue also added 4 passes. It was his first game for Monthey this season. It was Monthey's first loss after three consecutive victories.

   #5. Roberto Mantovani (6'8''-F-94, played in 2015-16, plays in Cyprus) managed to help Petrolina AEK Larnaca to win against the closely-ranked Etha (5-9) crushing them 84-64 in the Cypriot Division A in Saturday night's game. Mantovani scored only 4 points in 13 minutes. Petrolina AEK Larnaca (10-3) is placed second in the Division A. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This season Mantovani averages 1.3ppg and 1.4rpg. He has also Cypriot passport.

   #6. Rafail Eleftheriou (6'7''-F-94, played in 2014-16, currently in Cyprus) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Omonia crushing them 88-62 in the Cypriot Division A last Sunday. Eleftheriou scored only 4 points. This year Eleftheriou averages 1.5ppg and 1.6rpg in 11 games.

   #7. Valentin Bauer (6'0''-PG-94, played in 2013-14, plays pro in Austria) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams BK Klosterneuburg Dukes (12-8) in their game last Saturday. Despite his good performance BK Klosterneuburg Dukes were badly defeated 80-63 in Kapfenberg by the higher-ranked Bulls (#3). Bauer was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. This season Bauer averages 5.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.2spg.

   #8. Karl Otabor (6'1''-G-90, graduated '13, plays in Norway) couldn't help Fyllingen BBK in their game against Asker Aliens in the Norwegian BLNO. He scored 9 points and added 6 assists. His team lost 92-103. This year Otabor averages 9.4ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.9apg in 20 games.

   #9. Tom Schumacher (6'3''-PG-87, played in 2008-09, currently in Luxembourg) is a teammate of previously mentioned Frank Muller and both played together in the last Luxembourg Total League game. Schumacher contributed to T71's victory against the league outsider Residence 111-97. He scored only 4 points and added 4 assists in 15 minutes. This season Schumacher has very high stats. He averages 17.2ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.2apg and 1.8spg.

   #10. Jordi Signes Beltri (6'7''-F-98, graduated '17, plays pro in Spain) couldn't help Barbera in their game against SESE in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). Signes Beltri scored only 4 points. His team lost 70-76. This year Signes Beltri averages 5.6ppg and 1.6rpg in 11 games.
