Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top former Cardinals players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Octavius Ellis (6'10''-C-93, graduated '16, plays pro in Greece) could not help Promitheas (8-5) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Promitheas was edged 80-77 at home by the leading Olympiacos. Ellis was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 7 rebounds in 24 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ellis' third season in pro basketball. This year Ellis averages 8.2ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3bpg in 11 games he played so far.

#2. Malcolm Riley (6'5''-F-93, graduated '16, plays in Lebanon) was not able to help Byblos (4-5) in their last game on Monday. Despite Riley's very good performance Byblos was crushed 93-64 on their home court in Byblos by the leading Al Riyadi. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Riley also added 6 rebounds and 3 assists (made all of his six free throws). His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Riley's first season with the team. Riley has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 23.1ppg, 5.7rpg and 2.9apg.

#3. Leon Gilmore III (6'7''-F, played in 2015-16, currently in Latvia), who plays in the Latvian LatEstBL was not able to secure a victory for Jekabpils (1-12) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Jekabpils lost 72-77 on their home court in Jekabpils to the much higher-ranked (#5) Jurmala. Gilmore III had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 3 steals in 34 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Gilmore III's first season in pro basketball. It was Jekabpils' 11th consecutive loss in a row. Gilmore III has relatively good stats this year 12.0ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0spg in two games.

#4. Dedrick Basile (5'10''-PG-94, played in 2014-15, plays pro in Finland) led Oulun NMKY to a victory over the leader Lahti (12-1) crushing them 96-62 in the Finnish 1st Division (second division) last Sunday. Basile was MVP of the game. He scored 36 points (!!!) and grabbed 8 rebounds. Oulun NMKY (8-6) is placed sixth in Division A. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. It's Basile's first season with the team. This year Basile has very high stats. He averages 22.8ppg, 9.6rpg, 4.9apg and 4.1spg.
