Four players scored in double figures as the No. 5 FSW men's basketball team won its 12th straight game, defeating St. Petersburg, 91-75, on Monday night (Jan. 29). The Buccaneers, who ranked No. 2 in the FCSAA NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll, move to 22-1 on the season (6-0 Suncoast Conference), while the Titans fall to 11-12 overall and 3-3 in conference play. Sophomore Tremell Murphy (6'6''-F) led the Bucs with a game-high 27 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the floor and 7-of-10 from the charity stripe. He also added nine boards and a pair of steals in the win. Sophomore Anthony Murphy (6'5''-G) finished with 15 points and four rebounds, while sophomore Shanquan Hemphill (6'6''-G/F) chipped in with 12 points and three boards. Freshman Maddox Daniels (6'6''-G/F) finished with 12 points (4-of-7 from three-point range) and sophomore Russell Daniels (5'11''-PG-99) add nine points, four rebounds and a pair of assists. The Bucs are back in action Wednesday, Jan. 31 when they travel to Winter Haven, Fla. to face Polk State in Suncoast Conference action. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The College of Southern Idaho welcomed its new Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Reinert Tuesday at a press conference.
