LiAngelo Ball (6'5''-G-98, college: UCLA, agency: Slash Sports) and Lamelo Ball (6'5''-G-01, agency: Slash Sports) led the JBA Western Conference All-Stars to a historic 202-189 over the Eastern Conference All-Stars at the inaugural JBA All-Star game Friday at the Quest Multisport Complex in Chicago. The Ball Brothers combined for 81 points, with LaMelo leading the way for the West All-Star with 42 points on 18-of-30 shooting from the field. However, it was LiAngelo that took home to the JBA All-Star game co-MVP on Friday, alongside Deon Lyle (6'5''-G, college: UTSA), who scored a game-high 51 points for the East. LiAngelo could have walked away with two pieces of hardware on Friday, but he fell short in the three-point contest, losing 20-11 to Brandon Willis of the Seattle Ballers. LiAngelo and LaMelo will now turn their attention to the JBA playoffs, which start August 10. If the Los Angeles Ballers advance to the Finals, they will play August 12 at 8 p.m. at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.

Rieger, Lyle step up, lead JBA USA to victory in European finale - 4 months ago
Team JBA USA needed someone to step up when Jordan Ray (191-PG-00) left the game in the second quarter with a wrist injury. Harrison Rieger (193-G/F-98) and Deon Lyle (196-G, college: UTSA) stepped in and helped Team JBA USA to a 115-101 victory on Tuesday night against BCM U Pitesti at Oprea Arena in Pitesti, Romania. The victory is the finale to the European portion of the International Tour. LiAngelo Ball (196-G-98, college: UCLA, agency: Slash Sports) led JBA USA (15-3) with 42 points...   [read more]

Rieger performance not enough as Team JBA USA winning streak ends in Macedonia - 4 months ago
Team JBA USA fell from behind quickly to start the game. Although they made a comeback, the 24 point deficit was too much to overcome. The 12 game winning streak came to an end with a 129-122 loss to Rabotnicki KK on Wednesday evening at the Telecom Arena in Skopje, Macedonia. JBA USA (13-3) fell behind from the start and couldn't get a lead the entire game after trailing 41-17 at the end of the first quarter thanks to 19 three pointers as a team for Rabotnicki. JBA USA chipped away and l...   [read more]

LaMelo Ball is Returning To High School, Plans To Enroll at SPIRE Institute in Ohio - 4 months ago
The Ball family grew into a household name by doing and saying the unexpected. Unconventional move after unconventional move throughout 2017 kept basketball fans on their toes while drawing criticism from others. First it was Lonzo Ball opting to go the independent route by helping launch his family's brand instead of signing a traditional sneaker contract with Nike, adidas or Under Armour. Then it was Lamelo Ball (6'5''-G-01, agency: Slash Sports) withdrawing from Chino Hills HS to be h...   [read more]
