Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Atlanta (5-2) at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were rolled over by Los Angeles (6-2) 170-123. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Los Angeles dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Atlanta's 56. Los Angeles forced 27 Atlanta turnovers and outrebounded them 93-61 including a 46-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Los Angeles made 8 blocks. Guard Lamelo Ball (196-1, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 48 points (!!!), 24 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners and guard LiAngelo Ball (196-98, college: UCLA, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 48 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Corey Boyd (206-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Los Angeles have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-2 record. Atlanta at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. Los Angeles are looking forward to face Houston (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Atlanta will play against Dallas (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Seattle. Third ranked host Seattle (5-3) defeated 4th placed New York (4-3) 115-98. Jerell Springer (198-99) nailed 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Cameron Clark accounted for 13 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Jerry Antoine (196-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds for New York in the defeat. Seattle have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-3 record behind leader Los Angeles. New York at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Dallas. Seattle will play against Chicago (#7) on the road in the next round. New York will play against Philadelphia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
JBL top team - Los Angeles (6-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Chicago (2-6) 130-122. The best player for the winners was LiAngelo Ball who had a double-double by scoring 54 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Lenell Watson produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the guests. Los Angeles have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-2 record. Chicago lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Los Angeles will meet Houston (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Chicago will play against Seattle and hope to secure a win.
The game in Chicago was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Dallas (4-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Chicago (2-6). Dallas managed to secure a 9-point victory 109-100. Nyang Wek orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds. Dallas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with New York. Chicago lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Dallas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Atlanta on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Chicago will play against Seattle (#3) and hope to win that game.
The game in Houston supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Seattle (5-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Houston (3-5). Seattle smashed Houston 125-98 on Saturday. Anthony Carmon stepped up and scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Seattle have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-3 record behind leader Los Angeles. Loser Houston keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Seattle will face Chicago (#7) on the road in the next round. Houston will play against the league's leader Los Angeles and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 5 bottom-ranked Philadelphia lost to Houston on the opponent's court 103-111.



Seattle - New York 115-98

The game between Top Four teams took place in Seattle. Third ranked host Seattle (5-3) defeated 4th placed New York (4-3) 115-98. Seattle made 37-of-46 charity shots (80.4 percent) during the game, while New York only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Seattle forced 20 New York turnovers and outrebounded them 62-42 including a 44-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. New York was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Jerell Springer (198-99) nailed 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and forward Cameron Clark (200, college: Independence CC) accounted for 13 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Jerry Antoine (196-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds and Calvin Brown (198-99) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for New York in the defeat. Five Seattle and four New York players scored in double figures. Seattle have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-3 record behind leader Los Angeles. New York at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Dallas. Seattle will play against Chicago (#7) on the road in the next round. New York will play against Philadelphia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
