The PrimeTime Players hosted the SC Upstate Redhawks in their first game since their 1st loss of the season against the Carolina Thunder two weeks ago. The Redhawks opened the game quickly taking a early 8 point lead behind 10 first quarter points from perennial ECBL Allstar Octreyvious Roebuck, but over the last two minutes of the quarter the Redhawks were out scored 11-3 with Odell Turner leading the comeback with 8 of those 11pts. The second quarter was the Trey Suttles (6'5''-F, college: Tenn Wesleyan) and Chris Moore (6'2''-G-86, college: Charleston So.) show as they combined for 28 of the teams 45pts in the quarter as they moved out to a 72-52 lead. The second half Chris Moore again, had a huge quarter dishing out 7 assists to go along with 14 of his team high 37pts in the third as PrimeTime was able to push the lead to as much as 35 and out of reach before the 4th quarter even started. Both teams played even over the last quarter as PrimeTime Players cruised to a 147-109 win and combined with the Fayetteville Panthers upset win over the Carolina Thunder they also moved back into sole possession on the Southern Conference playoffs race. The PrimeTime Players will close out the regular season with a home game on June 1st against the Fayetteville Panthers and then on the road on June the 2nd against the Charlotte Tribe.
