The PrimeTime Players hosted the Augusta Eagles in the Season Opener for both verteran ECBL teams at Banks Street in Fort Mill SC. The game opened with PrimeTime Players hosting a special presentation for William Massey a former player who was the team captain for 10 years and after his playing career stayed on with the organization as the DJ. William Massey had heart replacement surgery late last year and was a huge inspiration to the PrimeTime Players as they dedicated there 2018 season to him and this past Saturday inducted him into the PrimeTime Players HOF as its 1st Member. After the ceremony it was time to get down to business and the host PrimeTime Players came out quick opening a quick 20 point lead and a 40-19 lead after the 1st quarter where Chris Moore scored 10 points and helped set up multiple easy baskets for Trey Suttles (6'5''-F, college: Tenn Wesleyan) who also had 10 points in the quarter. The second quarter Terell Smith (6'3''-G-85, college: Limestone) started to find his range from the three point line knocking down 4 and Teon Beckett made a immediate impact by scoring all 9 of his points in the quarter with hustle plays giving PrimeTime great energy with steals and offensive rebounds as they went into the half up 69-45. The second have Augusta opened strong with Michael Couvson (6'1''-SG) and Scheraun King (6'5''-G-87, college: Albany St.) combining for 15 points as they where able to cut the lead down to 12 points midway through the period. Towards the end of the quarter newcomer Zeriq Lolar for PrimeTime started finding his range from three knocking down three to go with three more front Terell Smith and F Odell Turner grabbed 8 of his 14 team high rebounds and 10pts in the quarter as they opened up a 102-72 lead at the end of the 3rd. The fourth quarter PrimeTime played even most of the quarter with Trey Britton and Trey Suttles combining for 20pts and 10rbs in the quarter. PrimeTime will next travel to Hickory in a rematch of the 2018 ECBL Championship on Saturday March 9th and the game will be played with the Elam Ending Rules.

The Winston-Salem Wolves remained unbeaten in ECBL play this season with a home win over the SC Upstate Redhawks on Saturday, March 16, with a final score of 120-80.
