John Britton
The PrimeTime Players have announced the addition of four new players for the 2019 ECBL season as they prepare to try and make a run at a 8th straight minor league championship. John Britton (6'8''-C/F-89, college: Anderson, SC, agency: HMS) (6'8" F/C Anderson 2011) who played last season in Georgia with BC Titebi where he averaged 19.8ppg and 7.8rpg will be counted on to help stabilize the PrimeTime Players front court rotation where he will join returners Odell Turner (6'8''-F-91, college: Wingate) and ECBL Allstar PJ Heath (6'6''-F, college: Allen). John has experience in the ECBL having played a few seasons with the High Point Heat where he was one of the top F/C in the league in helping lead them to two playoff appearances. The team also announced the addition of Diondre Pratt (6'4''-G-94, college: Johnson C. Smith), Teon Beckett (6'4''-G-91, college: Coker), and Zeriq Lolar (6'2''-G) who all had a great off season and earned roster spots for the 2019 season. Diondre Pratt (6'4" G JCSU 2016) who last season played in a handful of games as a alternate averaging 18.5ppg, joins the team fulltime after a strong preseason, including leading the team by averaged 25ppg last week in two wins at the preseason showcase in Hickory. Teon Beckett (6'4" G/F Coker 2014) and Zeriq Lolar (6'2" G Wingate 2018) both earned roster spots after working out with the team over the off season and both will be counted on to step right in and contribute. Both players will come right in and contribute as both fill needs that the team where looking to address for the upcoming season with Beckett coming in as a high energy player who can play multiple positions and Lolar who adds another excellent shooter to the rotation, who can also play minutes at the PG position as well.
