Petersburg paid the Hampton Roads Warriors a visit on June 3rd 2018 to take on the Warriors and make up for an earlier season loss, however in the first quarter both the Cavaliers and Warriors looked sluggish at the start, but then the Warriors caught some momentum playing tough defense to take a 32 to 25 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter it was a defensive battle on both ends of the court as each team tried to get it going, however by the end of the 2nd quarter the score was Hampton Roads Warriors 57 Petersburg Cavaliers 47. In the 3rd quarter the Warriors got it going and had momentum on their side as they were having their way with the Cavaliers by putting up 49 points in the 3rd and at the end of the 3rd quarter it was the Hampton Roads Warriors 105 Petersburg Cavaliers 75. To start the 4th the Warriors kept up the intensity on the offensive end as Petersburg had no answer for the Warriors as they again scored 35 points in the 4th as the final was Hampton Roads Warriors 140 Petersburg Cavaliers 99. The win clinches the #3 Seed in the Northern Conference where the Hampton Roads Warriors finished the regular season at 8-4.
