The Augusta Eagles came to Norfolk to take on the Hampton Roads Warriors in North vs South match-up in the East Coast basketball League. The first quarter was a slow start as both teams tried to get it going and the first quarter ended at 22 to 21 the Warriors. The second quarter pretty much was even as both teams battled but the Warriors came out with the halftime lead 48-41. In the third the warriors tried to pull away Going up by 11 but the Eagles fought back and closed the gap 77-72. Early in the 4th the Eagles came back and took the lead and went up by 12but the Warriors came back and took a 2-point lead with 2:35 left and pushed it to 6 with 1:59 left then they kept up the momentum and the final is 110 to 100. The Hampton Roads Warriors were led by Deshaune Green (6'7''-F, college: Mount Olive)'s 33 points 19 rebounds, Caleb Henderson (5'11''-PG), Ronald Pope, and Jerod Williams each chipped in 15 a piece. The Augusta Eagles were led by Michael Couvson (6'1''-SG)'s 36 points, followed by Richard Yancey's 25 and Daniel Quarles 13.
