PrimeTime blows past Florence 172-142 - May 1, 2018

The PrimeTime Players hosted the Florence Wildcats this past Saturday in a match up of two of the top four teams in the Southern Conference. The Wildcats came into the game having won three of their last four games and also featured the leagues leading scorer Quincy Washington (6'5''-G, college: Charleston) at 50.2ppg as they looked at trying to knock off the undefeated host. The host PrimeTime Players were playing without three time league MVP Chris Moore but had both Sean Barnette (6'6''-F-86, college: Wingate) and Dijuan Harris (5'9''-PG-86, college: Charlotte) both back in the starting lineup for the match up. The 1st quarter the host came out quick with Terell Smith (6'3''-G-85, college: Limestone) being left wide open on the perimeter where he was able to knock down five three pointers in the quarter as PrimeTime was able to open up a 40-27 lead going into the 2nd. The second quarter the host didn't slow down as they where able to knock down eight three pointers in the quarter and went into the half up 89-62 after a spinning half court buzzer beater by Quincy Washington was able to cut the lead 27. Diondre Pratt (6'4''-G-94, college: Johnson C. Smith) scored all 15 of his points in the 2nd quarter and Sean Barnette also scored 18 of his 32 points in the 1st half. The second half both teams traded baskets throughout the next two quarters but the Florence Wilcats where never able to cut the lead down any closer than 20pts. The leagues leading scorer Quincy Washington finished with 43pts for Florence to only be out done by Terell Smith with the PrimeTime Players who finished with 44pts and 14 of the PrimeTime Players made 29 three pointers for the game. PimeTime Players Guard Dijuan Harris who was returning from a injury four weeks ago,came back with a strong outing scoring 17pts and dishing out 20 assists and PrimeTime Players forward Odell Turner also notched his 6th Double Double of the season by scoring 19 points and adding 16 rebounds.

ECBL to add Elam Ending for 13th Game in 2019 - 4 months ago
The Elam Ending will be coming to the ECBL in 2019. Teams schedule 13 games throughout the season with 10 games in conference that go towards playoffs seeding and 3 out of conference that don't have any bearing on the playoff standings. Teams will use the 3rd non conference game to play under the Elam Ending rules. The ECBL returns to Fayetteville - 5 months ago
The ECBL Board announced the addition of the Fayetteville Panthers to the league lineup for the 2019 upcoming season. The team will be owned and coached by China Bethea who is a disabled veteran that grew up in the Fayetteville area having played Middle School, High School, AAU, and Semi Pro throughout the surrounding area over the years.
