PrimeTime Players race past Redhawks 166-122 - May 19, 2016

The PrimeTime Players returned to Banks Street Saturday night hosting the RedHawks from Greenville SC in a Southern Division league game. The PrimeTime Players opened the game hot with Danny Sanders (6'7''-SF-89, college: Jarvis Christian) continuing his hot shooting for the 2nd straight week with 10 first quarter points and helped put PrimeTime up early 31-13 after his second three pointer of the quarter. The Redhawks would go away behind former Winthrop star Robbie Dreher (6'4''-G, college: Charleston Un.) 13 and Josh Clater (6'5''-F)'s 12 first quarter points where able to cut the lead down to 11 to finish the quarter. The second quarter started of good for the Redhawks as Melvin Garret was able to get multiple second chance looks and they was able to help cut the lead down to six at the 8 minute mark. At this point things changed quickly as PrimeTime started hitting threes from all over the court and ended up hitting a total of 13 three pointers in the quarter and finished the first half on a 40-12 run and a 86 to 52 halftime lead.
The second half started at a fast paced up and down game with the Redhawks outscoring the PrimeTime Players 43-37 in the 3rd with Robbie Dreher scoring 20 points of his league high 50pts in the quarter and Melvin Garrett (6'6''-F-82, college: Salem Intern., agency: Aspire Sports) Jr adding 13. The fourth quarter stared with Lew Sims and Chris Moore (6'2''-PG-86, college: Charleston So.) alternating baskets for PrimeTime as they combined for a quick 24 points in the quarter then Pierre Stines exploded over the last six minutes of the game scoring 14 points down the stretch and adding 8 rebounds in the quarter as PrimeTime was able to cruise to a 166-122 victory. The Redhawks will next host the ECBL game of the week on the 21st in Greenville SC against the SC Allstars which can be watched live on the East Coast Basketball League YouTube Page, the PrimeTime Players will travel to take on the Petersburg Revolution at 3:00 on Saturday.

PrimeTime Players clinch fourth ECBL title - 28 days ago
PrimeTime Players extended their East Coast Basketball League dominance. They overcame Hickory Hoyas 134:118 in the Final on Saturday to claim the fourth consecutive trophy.
