Monaco inks Cory Joseph

Cory Joseph

AS Monaco Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old Canadian ex-international guard Cory Joseph (189cm-83kg-1991, college: Texas). He played last season at Orlando Magic in the NBA. In 56 games he had 3.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.6apg. He helped them to win the Southeast Division title.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at another NBA team the Warriors in NBA.
In 2011 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in first round (29th overall). The former University of Texas star is in his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Joseph was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. He played for Canadian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2022 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2009.
Joseph also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. Joseph's team won Bronze and he had 15 points per game.
He has played also professionally in other USA teams, NBA (Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
