Toronto Raptors signed 27-year old Canadian-Nigerian forward Eugene Omoruyi (6'6''-233lbs-1997, college: Oregon). He just played at Raptors 905 Mississauga. In 14 NBA G League games he had very impressive stats: 19.6ppg, 7.4rpg and 2.5apg this season. He also played for the Timberwolves earlier that season. The other team he played shortly were another NBA team the Wizards. Another team he played briefly were another NBA team the Wizards.
Omoruyi has never been drafted by the NBA.
He has played previously for seven other teams: Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, OKC Thunder, OKC Blue, Texas Legends, Capital City Go-Go and OKC Blue.
Among many awards his team made it to the NBA Semifinals in 2022. Omoruyi was also voted All-OSBA player and defensive player of the Year back in 2016 at high school.
He graduated from University of Oregon in 2021 and it is his fourth season as a professional player. Omoruyi played also for Rutgers University for 3 years.
