We bring you last week's top performances from Canadians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is former international swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Denver Nuggets (54-28) in their last game. Despite Murray's very good performance the Denver Nuggets (54-28) were edged 140-137 on the road by the Portland Trail Blazers. He was the top scorer with 34 points. Murray also added 9 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 55 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Murray has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 18.7ppg, 4.2rpg, 4.8apg, 2FGP: 47.9%, 3FGP: 36.5% and FT: 85.3% in 86 games he played so far. Murray played for the Canadian senior national team four years ago.

Dyshawn Pierre

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Dyshawn Pierre (198-93, college: Dayton, currently plays in Italy). He led Banco di Srd to a victory over the closely-ranked Alma TR (16-13) crushing them 86-65 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. Pierre was MVP of the game. He scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only Pierre's third season in pro basketball. Banco di Sardegna Sassari (17-12) is placed fifth in the Serie A. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Pierre's overall stats this season are: 9.4ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 59.3%(64-108) and FT: 84.6%. He is in the roster of the Canadian senior national team.

   #3. The Canadian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Melvin Ejim (201-91, college: Iowa St., currently plays in VTB United League). Ejim was the major contributor in an Unics Kazan's victory against the seventh-ranked Kalev/Cramo (14-12) 92-82 in the VTB United League on Friday night. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 10 rebounds. Ejim also added 4 assists in 27 minutes. Unics Kazan (21-5) is placed second in the VTB United League. This year Ejim's overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 54.1%, 3FGP: 35.6% and FT: 81.1% in 18 games. He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Nigerian. Ejim is also a member of the Canadian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Kyle Wiltjer (208-92, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in an Unicaja Malaga's victory against the 14th-ranked Movil Estudiantes (10-19) 80-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Saturday night's game. He was the best player in that game. Wiltjer scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Unicaja Malaga (17-12) is placed fifth in the Liga Endesa. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Wiltjer's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 11.4ppg and 2.4rpg. Wiltjer is also Canadian national team player.

   #5. International forward Thomas Scrubb (198-91, college: Carleton, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Pistoia Basket (6-23) crushing them 98-70 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. He scored 16 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 30 minutes. Openjobmetis Varese (16-13) is placed sixth in the Serie A. Scrubb's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. This year Scrubb has relatively solid stats: 13.7ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg in 29 games. He is another player who holds two passports: British and Canadian. Scrubb plays currently for the Canadian national team.

Point guard Kevin Pangos (185-93, college: Gonzaga, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams FC Barcelona in their game against Baskonia (23-6) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. He scored 8 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. FC Barcelona was defeated 84-72 at home by the second-ranked Baskonia. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Pangos' total stats this season are: 8.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.2apg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Canadian National Team roster.

Kajami-Keane was the top player that evening. He scored 21 points and added 5 passes in 30 minutes. Landstede Basketbal Zwolle (28-6) is placed second in the Eredivisie. Kajami-Keane has very impressive stats this year: 18.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 4.3apg and 2.9spg in 35 games. He plays currently for the Canadian national team.

International center Joel Anthony (206-82, college: UNLV, currently plays in Argentina) contributed to a San Lorenzo's victory against one of league's weakest teams Penarol (11-24) 88-84 in the Argentinian La Liga in Wednesday night's game. Anthony scored 12 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. San Lorenzo de Almagra (29-5) is placed first in the La Liga. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Anthony has averaged so far 7.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.2bpg. He is also in the roster of the Canadian national team.

Former international shooting guard Andrew Rautins (193-86, college: Syracuse, currently plays in Turkey) helped Acibadem win their game against the closely-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka 74-62 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. Rautins was the top player that evening. He scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Rautins averaged so far 14.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.0apg. He is a naturalized American. Rautins used to play for the Canadian national team back in 2013.

   #13. Former U18 international point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor, currently plays in France) helped Boulazac Basket edge the 14th-ranked Olympique Antibes 85-84 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA on Saturday night. He recorded 10 points and added 5 assists in 24 minutes. Chery has very impressive stats this year: 16.7ppg, 3.4rpg, 4.2apg and 1.5spg in 30 games. He used to play for the Canadian U18 national team nine years ago.

   #14. Former international power forward Owen Klassen (208-91, college: Acadia, currently plays in Germany) helped EnBW Ludwigsburg win their game against the fourth-ranked SC Rasta Vechta 102-98 in the German BBL on Saturday night. He scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Klassen has averaged so far 9.9ppg and 6.1rpg. He used to play for the Canadian national team back in 2017.

   #15. Former international guard Olivier Hanlan (193-93, college: Boston Coll., currently plays in Germany) helped Telekom Baskets win their game against the 11th-ranked Braunschweig 92-86 in the German BBL in Wednesday night's game. Hanlan recorded 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in only 13 minutes. Hanlan has averaged so far 8.0ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.4apg in 21 games. He used to play for the Canadian national team two years ago.

   #1. Dylan Ennis (187-PG-91, agency: BeoBasket, college: Oregon, currently plays in Spain) led Andorra to a victory over the closely-ranked Blusens Monbus (11-18) 91-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. Ennis was the top player that evening. He scored 16 points and added 3 passes. MoraBanc Andorra (15-16) is placed tenth in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Ennis has reliable stats this season: 13.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.7apg. He has a dual citizenship: Canadian and Jamaican.

   #2. Dejan Kravic (211-F/C-90, college: Texas Tech, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Brose Baskets (8-6) 67-50 in the Basketball Champions League last Friday. Kravic recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. Virtus Segafredo Bologna (10-4) is placed first in group D. Kravic has averaged so far 7.8ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1bpg in 19 games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Canadian.

   #3. Aleksandar Danilovic (202-F-93, currently plays in Portugal) could not help Ovarense (15-17) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Danilovic's very good performance the fifth-placed Ovarense (15-17) was defeated 90-82 at home by the higher-ranked Lusitania (#4) in the Places 1-6 group. He was the top scorer with 28 points. Danilovic also added 8 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. Danilovic averaged so far 12.0ppg and 4.9rpg. He has both Canadian and Serbian nationalities.

   #4. Kassius Robertson (191-G-94, college: Missouri, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help BBC Bayreuth (14-17) in their last game. Despite Robertson's good performance BBC Bayreuth was crushed 92-69 on the road by the higher-ranked (#6) ratiopharm Ulm. He was the top scorer with 13 points in 25 minutes. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Robertson's stats this year are: 12.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.8apg in 31 games.

   #5. Maurice Walker (208-C-91, college: Minnesota, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Rueil (7-10) crushing them 98-73 in the French NM1 (third division) on Saturday night. Walker scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 20 minutes. SO Maritime Boulogne (7-10) is placed seventh in Places 1-10 group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Walker has averaged so far 9.5ppg and 5.0rpg in 12 games. He also holds two passports: Canadian and British.

   #6. Ryan Wright (206-C/F-87, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for PVSK-Veolia in their game against Falco-Vulcano in the Hungarian A Division. Wright recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 17 minutes. His team was crushed by 35 points 88-53. Wright has averaged so far 6.1ppg and 3.4rpg in 17 games.

   #7. Brandon Tull (193-G-93, college: Regina, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Quintanar's victory against the 16th-ranked Casvi 90-76 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. He recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 32 minutes. Tull has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.5spg in 28 games.

   #8. Javon Masters (183-G-94, agency: Blacktop Management, college: UNB, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Ourense in their game against Melilla Baloncesto in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Masters recorded 6 points. His team was defeated 69-63. Masters has averaged so far 6.0ppg and 1.8rpg. He holds both Canadian and Jamaican passports.

   #9. Torey Fassett (198-C, currently plays in Antigua) was the main contributor in Flyers' victory against one of league's weakest teams Freetown Travellers crushing them 91-57 in the Antiguan ABBA on Saturday night. Fassett was the top player that evening. He had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 13 rebounds. Fassett also added 5 assists in 32 minutes. Fassett has very impressive stats this year: 25.8ppg, 10.4rpg, 3.2apg and 3.4spg in 14 games.

   #10. Paul Campbell (208-F/C-87, college: Hawaii, currently plays in Australia) contributed to a NW Tasmania Thunder's victory against the eighth-ranked Eltham Wildcats 100-95 in the Australian State League (second division) in Sunday night's game. He recorded 6 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Campbell averaged so far 10.7ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.4apg.

TERRELL CARTER II Southwest Slammers (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of American center Terrell Carter II (208-132kg, college: Fresno State, agency: Haylett Sports). He moved there from Island Storm in Canadian NBL where he started the season. In 18 NBL Canada games he recorded 10.2ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3bpg this season. JOLY RUDOLPHE Llaneros de Guarico (LPB) landed 26-year old Canadian center Joly Rudolphe (208-128kg-92, college: Sheridan JC). He moved there from London Lightning in Canadian NBL where he started the season. In 20 NBL Canada games he averaged just 2.8ppg and 2.1rpg this season.
