KORIE LUCIOUS

Rio Claro Basquete (Liga Ouro) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American point guard Korie Lucious (180-77kg-89, college: Iowa State). He joins another USA player Cameron Tatum which is already in the roster.
Lucious played recently at Moncton Magic in Canadian NBL. But in four NBL Canada games he recorded just 0.8ppg this season. The last season he was tested by Rabotnicki in FYR Macedonian league where in only one FIBA Europe Cup game he had 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Lucious has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Among other achievements his team made it to the Polish League Semifinals in 2014. Lucious was selected to Polish League All-Star Game back in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Lucious' pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in four different countries. Lucious has played previously professionally in China (Henan), Cyprus (Keravnos), Hungary (Sopron KC) and Poland (Wilki Morskie and Rosa).
He attended Iowa State until 2013 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
