We bring you last week's top former Axemen players who are currently playing in pro basketball.


   #1. Owen Klassen (6'10''-C/F-91, graduated '14, plays pro in Germany) contributed to a MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg's victory against the league outsider Crailsheim Merlins (1-10) 82-70 in the German BBL on Saturday night. He scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 20 minutes. MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg (2-7) is placed seventh in the BBL. It was his team's first victory after six consecutive loses. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Klassen's first year with the team. This season Klassen averages 9.0ppg and 7.3rpg.

   #2. Erik Nissen (6'9''-F-95, graduated '18, plays in Spain) helped Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono win their game against the 12th-ranked Tormes (4-10) crushing them 88-68 in the Spanish LEB Silver (third division) in Sunday night's game. He scored 8 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Bodegas Rioja Vega Logrono (8-6) is placed fifth in West group. This year Nissen averages 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.1bpg in 14 games he played so far.
