TRISTAN THOMPSON
We bring you last week's top performances from Canadians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Tristan Thompson
Tristan Thompson
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Tristan Thompson (206-91, college: Texas, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-18) in their last game. Despite Thompson's very good performance the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-18) lost 95-106 on the road to the Toronto Raptors. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 19 rebounds. Thompson also added 3 assists (made all of his six free throws) in 40 minutes on the court. It was Cavaliers' fourth consecutive loss in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Thompson's eighth year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Thompson averages: 11.7ppg, 11.5rpg, 2.0apg, 2FGP: 52.7% and FT: 64.4% in 23 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Canadian senior national team.

The Denver Nuggets have a solid 16-7 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Murray has very high stats. He averages: 17.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.7apg, 2FGP: 47.2%, 3FGP: 31.0% and FT: 86.6%. Murray played for the Canadian national team in 2015.
