Tango Bourges Basket (LFB) added to their roster 26-year old Canadian ex-international power forward Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe (188-91, college: Simon Fraser). She played this summer at New York Liberty (WNBA). Raincock-Ekunwe managed to play in three leagues last year. The last season she played at Nantes Reze where in 27 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was selected Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Center of the Year. Raincock-Ekunwe also played 6 games in Eurocup where she averaged remarkable 16.7ppg, 11.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Raincock-Ekunwe's team was regular season runner-up in WNBA Eastern Conference in 2017. She was also voted Basketball BC University Player of the Year back in 2011, 2012 and 2013 at her college time.
Raincock-Ekunwe represented Canada at the World University Games in Shenzhen (China) seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 6.0ppg, 3.6rpg, FGP: 35.7%, FT: 55.6%.
Raincock-Ekunwe is quite experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America) in four different countries. Raincock-Ekunwe has played previously professionally in Australia (Bendigo Spirit), Germany (TSV 1880 Wasserburg and TH Wohnbau Angels), Switzerland (Pully) and France (Flammes).
She attended Simon Fraser University until 2013 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player.
