Tango Bourges Basket (LFB) agreed terms with 24-year old Canadian international center Ruth Hamblin (198-94, college: Oregon State, agency: LBM Management). She started the season at Adelaide Link Lightning in Australian WNBL. In 21 games she had 8.0ppg and 6.5rpg this season. The last season Hamblin played at Perth Lynx in WNBL where in 27 games she recorded 11.0ppg, 7.7rpg and 2.2bpg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as she was named to Australiabasket.com All-Australian WNBL Honorable Mention.
Two years ago Hamblin was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) in second round (18th overall).
The former Oregon State staris in her second season in pro basketball.
Hamblin has been also a member of Canadian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Canadian senior team since 2013 and previously for University National Team in 2015.
Hamblin represented Canada at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) three years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 6 games: 8.0ppg, 7.2rpg, Blocks-5 (1.8bpg), FGP: 47.8%, FT: 57.1%.
