Homenetmen Beirut (Division A) inked 30-year old Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-111kg-84, college: Oklah.Baptist, agency: Hart Sports Mngm). He played most recently at Byblos in Lebanese Division A. In 22 games he averaged 12.9ppg, 13.9rpg and 1.0bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Fraser also played at Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina league that season. In only one Adriatic League game he had just 2 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist.
The previous (12-13) season he played at Soles (LNBP) in Mexican league. In 5 games he had 11.2ppg, 10.4rpg and 1.0spg in 2012-13 season.
In 2011-12 season Fraser played at DniproAzot (Superleague) in Ukraine. In 9 games he had 14.0ppg and 8.9rpg in 2011-12 season.
In 2010-11 season he played at Gravelines-Dunkerque (ProA) in French league. But in 7 games he had only 1.7ppg and 3.7rpg in 2010-11 season. Fraser also played 3 games in EuroChallenge where he had 4.3ppg and 2.0rpg in 2010-11 season. The other team he played shortly was Al Kuwait (D1) in Kuwaiti league.
Among other achievements Fraser won Austrian Bundesliga A championship title in 2008. He received also Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Center of the Year award in 2013.
Fraser has played also professionally in Austria (Furstenfeld Panthers), Ukraine (Hoverla) and Kuwait (Al Arabi).
He attended Oklahoma Baptist University until 2007 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
