NIK STAUSKAS

Cleveland Cavaliers agreed terms with 25-year old Canadian international shooting guard Nik Stauskas (198-93kg-93, college: Michigan). Stauskas started the season at Portland Trail Blazers. In 44 NBA games he had 6.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.4apg this season.
The most of last season he spent at the Nets where in 35 NBA games he recorded 5.1ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.1apg. Stauskas also played for the 76ers. But in 6 NBA games he averaged just 0.7ppg.
In 2014 he was drafted by Sacremento Kings in first round (8th overall). The former University of Michigan standoutis in his fifth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Big Ten Regular Season in 2014. Stauskas was also voted Latinbasket.com All-FIBA Americas 2nd Team back in 2015.
He was also a member of Canadian international program for some years. Stauskas played for Canadian Senior National Team in 2015 and previously for U19 National Team in 2011.
He represented Canada at the FIBA Americas in Mexico four years ago. Stauskas' team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 9 games: 12.3ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.1apg, FGP: 53.3%, 3PT: 50.0%.
Stauskas has played previously for Sacramento Kings.
