AHMAD STARKS

Basquete Joinville/AABJ (NBB) landed 26-year old American point guard Ahmad Starks (175-77kg-92, college: Illinois, agency: SDJ Sports). He played most recently at KW Titans in Canadian NBL. In 26 NBL Canada games he averaged 13.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.2apg last season.
The most of previous (2017) summer Starks spent at NW Tasmania Thunder (SEABL) in league where in 20 games he had very impressive stats: 19.5ppg, 2.1rpg and 3.4apg in 2017 season. He also played for Norwood Flames (Premier League) in league. In two games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.0apg and 1.5spg in 2017 season.
Starks played at the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals in 2012.
He has played also professionally in Sweden (Orebro).
Starks attended University of Illinois until 2015 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.

JUSTIN EDWARDS Anyang KGC (KBL) signed 26-year old Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-91kg-92, college: Kansas State). He already started the season at Ironi Nahariya in Israeli Winner League. In 7 games he had 8.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg this season. The last season Edwards played at JSF Nanterre (ProA) in league where in 12 games he recorded 5.5ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.8apg. It was business as usual for the Carleton Ravens on Sunday, as they eased past the Guelph Gryphons 90-39 to take a perfect 10-0 record into the break.
