CONNOR WOOD

Uni Baskets Paderborn (ProA) added to their roster 25-year old Canadian international guard Connor Wood (194-93, college: Carleton). He played last season at Niagara River Lions in Canadian NBL. In 44 NBL Canada games he had 9.2ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.2apg.
The previous (16-17) season Wood played at Ravens in Canadian CIS where in 23 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to win CIS Tournament and end the regular season at the top position. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected All-OUA Player of the Year, CIS All-Canadian Player of the Year and named to All-OUA 1st Team.
Wood just graduated from Carleton University and it will be his first season as a pro.
He also represented Canada at the World University Games in Taipei (Taiwan) last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 15.0ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.1apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 54.5%, 3PT: 40.0%, FT: 85.7%.
