A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Icelandic League All-Imports Team and 2nd Team.
His team made it to the NBL Canada Semifinals in 2015.
Whitfield has played previously professionally also in Australia (Bandits).
He attended Western Michigan University until 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Whitfield's game is described as: A force inside player who can also step out and shoot the mid range jumper consistently. A 4yr starter in western Michigan Univ. Very strong physicality. Have great mobility for his size. He has shown already he can be a solid overseas inside player.
