Xavier Moon

Guard Xavier Moon (188-G, agency: Interperformances) had an amazing evening in the last round for Edmonton S. and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had the game-high 36 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Edmonton S. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Niagara RL (1-1) 118-105. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Edmonton S. was forced-out from the top positions in CEBL league. Edmonton S. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Moon had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Edmonton S. and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team.

Second best performed player last round was Myck Kabongo (190-G) of Guelph N.. He is DR Congolese-Canadian guard in his first season at Guelph N.. In the last game Kabongo recorded impressive double-double of 31 points and 11 assists. It was enough for Guelph N. to edge Fraser Valley B. (0-1) by 3 points 106-103. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Kabongo is one of the most experienced players at Guelph N. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Negus Webster-Chan (201-G) of league's second-best Saskatchewan R.. Webster-Chan showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, six rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Saskatchewan R., leading his team to a 130-110 easy win against Guelph N. (1-1). Saskatchewan R. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Webster-Chan has a very solid season. In 2 games in CEB he scored 18.5ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
